The U.S. has taken certain trade actions to increase barriers of trade into the U.S.
These include Presidential actions under Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962 (Section 232) and Sections 301–310 of the Trade Act of 1974 (Section 301).
Section 232 and Section 301 impose additional tariffs on imports of goods into the United States. Trade Pacific counsels importers to limit their liabilities for such trade restrictions and to obtain exclusions from such import barriers.
