David Lindgren is a trade consultant specializing in antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations, administrative reviews, and new shipper reviews before the U.S. Department of Commerce. His experience includes SASĀ® computer programming, compiling and reviewing sales and cost data for market and non-market economy AD proceedings, evaluating subsidy programs in CVD proceedings, assisting clients to develop reporting methodologies, conducting on-site verifications with foreign companies and governments, and implementing trade remedy strategies. Dave has also assisted clients with AD and CVD injury investigations conducted by the U.S. International Trade Commission.
His experience with AD and CVD casework includes a wide range of industries, including agricultural and food products, consumer goods, chemicals, steel and aluminum, renewable energy, and paper products.
Dave has worked with companies to seek exclusion from duties imposed on steel, aluminum, and other products pursuant to Section 232 and Section 301.
Prior to Joining Trade Pacific
Dave has been working on AD/CVD proceedings since he began his career as a trade analyst with the U.S. Department of Commerce. He worked for 11 years as a senior analyst, technical specialist, and ultimately a team manager. As a manager, Dave was responsible for leading a team of trade analysts on the administration of a portfolio of AD and CVD proceedings. Dave also worked as a trade analyst at a prominent Washington D.C.-based law firm for over two years on AD and CVD matters prior to joining Trade Pacific.
Prior to starting work as a trade remedy professional, Dave worked in a variety of roles, including project manager, budget analyst and compliance specialist. He has extensive project management experience in nearly 15 countries throughout Latin America and has worked on cases and with clients across the world, including Argentina, Armenia, Brazil, China, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, India, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Switzerland, Ukraine, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam.
